Happy Friday Everyone ☀️ Lots has happened this week so let’s get into it: Our CTO @johnfriz wrote a great piece on how a DeFi project is run. This is a brilliant deep dive into the workings of YOP Finance and pulls back the curtain on a lot of our operations. We want to add more depth and centralisation in the app and we believe the landing page can achieve this. More details will be coming out next week and maybe even a sneak peek. Watch this space 👀 Also on the development front, we are seeing a lot more mobile (over desktop) users right now. One thing we are acutely aware of being a painful experience is the wallet UX. This is painful enough on desktop but on mobile it is crazy. We are currently doing some feature updates and UX enhancements in this area and will have an improved experience for mobile with you soon 💪 We’ve been getting a lot of questions on $YOP exchange listings. I can confirm we are already on KuCoin and Gate.io, and UniSwap for the DEX. We are looking at others, specifically FTX, Binance, and Coinbase. FTX has no official listing process, so this is taking some time. Binance requires involvement in the Binance eco-system, so running something like a BUSD vault would work, but this requires the build out of YOP x BSC, which is not a quick win. Coinbase seems the most straight forward and we have started work on this. We will update you as we make progress 👍 Another hot topic is the legacy YOP NFTs and what is happening with them. I can confirm that we have started work on the YOP Finance 2.0 NFTs, but this is very early days at the moment. The idea being that these will be utility rich and not just JEGs. I’ve got quite a few ideas already but if you have any game changing ideas, I am all ears! I want to replace the 3 original legacy NFTs (88, 222, 888) and create a new ecosystem around $YOP NFTs. There will be limited amounts of the new NFTs and a new NFT tokenomics setup with clear utility for each 💡 AMAs and events have been highly active as usual. On Wednesday I was part of a Twitter Spaces panel discussing the current state of DeFi. This was hosted by Zebu and part of the build up to their Zebu Live event in September, that YOP Finance is attending!
