Airdropped NFTs 🚫
Some of you may have noticed some airdropped tokens or NFTs in your wallets recently. I can confirm that these are nothing to do with YOP Finance. It is not uncommon for tokens or NFTs to be airdropped into wallet out of nowhere. There are many scams out there that use this technique to scam people out of their tokens. Our advice is if you are seeing tokens or NFTs in your wallet that you don’t recognise, do not interact with them. I appreciate that this might be frustrating, especially for fellow OCDers out there! But leave them alone‼️
🔥 Landing Page Now Live 🔥
You might have seen me mention the YOP Finance landing page over the last few weeks. Well I am happy to say that this is now live! When navigating to the YOP Finance Dapp, you will now be taken to the Overview page. This has lots of info, such as details on our partners, details on our security vendors, info on our TVL, and much more. Check it out here
Referral Scheme Next 👥
Next up for development is the YOP Finance referral scheme. We want to reward our community for spreading the great news about YOP Finance and for helping bring new users onboard. We will achieve this by providing both new and existing users a reward for growing the community. This feature is actively in development and we will have more news soon.
Bug Fixes 🪳
A couple of UI bugs have surfaced. One pertains to the MyYOP rewards showing when no wallet is showing as connected. This has been identified as a wallet connection issue, that we are currently fixing. This is not a serious bug and only one that results in a less than ideal UX. There is no asset risk associated to this bug and we will have a fix deployed very soon.
Another UI bug involves the $YOP price displayed in the header bar changing incorrectly as you navigate to different pages in the Dapp. This is due to a caching issue. A fix has been identified and this will also be deployed very soon.
Exchange listings 🏦
Not much to update you on here but it is a very popular question so I must address it. We currently have 3 exchange listing applications submitted. These are all slow processes but we will persevere. We are also now looking at 2 more exchanges, bringing the total to 5. So hopefully we should see at least a couple of these come to fruition soon. There are many variables that are considered when listing, so it is not a simple, apply and your listed process. That said, we have a very comprehensive project, with a whitepaper, documented legal review, a team with a strong crypto background, and a lot of other key things that are considered when exchange applications are made. So we are hopefully of progressing and getting that all important community exposure and growth soon.
