Happy Friday Everyone!! 😎 Airdropped NFTs 🚫 Some of you may have noticed some airdropped tokens or NFTs in your wallets recently. I can confirm that these are nothing to do with YOP Finance. It is not uncommon for tokens or NFTs to be airdropped into wallet out of nowhere. There are many scams out there that use this technique to scam people out of their tokens. Our advice is if you are seeing tokens or NFTs in your wallet that you don’t recognise, do not interact with them. I appreciate that this might be frustrating, especially for fellow OCDers out there! But leave them alone‼️ 🔥 Landing Page Now Live 🔥 You might have seen me mention the YOP Finance landing page over the last few weeks. Well I am happy to say that this is now live! When navigating to the YOP Finance Dapp, you will now be taken to the Overview page. This has lots of info, such as details on our partners, details on our security vendors, info on our TVL, and much more. Check it out here https://app.yop.finance/overview Referral Scheme Next 👥 Next up for development is the YOP Finance referral scheme. We want to reward our community for spreading the great news about YOP Finance and for helping bring new users onboard. We will achieve this by providing both new and existing users a reward for growing the community. This feature is actively in development and we will have more news soon. Bug Fixes 🪳 A couple of UI bugs have surfaced. One pertains to the MyYOP rewards showing when no wallet is showing as connected. This has been identified as a wallet connection issue, that we are currently fixing. This is not a serious bug and only one that results in a less than ideal UX. There is no asset risk associated to this bug and we will have a fix deployed very soon. Another UI bug involves the $YOP price displayed in the header bar changing incorrectly as you navigate to different pages in the Dapp. This is due to a caching issue. A fix has been identified and this will also be deployed very soon. Exchange listings 🏦 Not much to update you on here but it is a very popular question so I must address it. We currently have 3 exchange listing applications submitted. These are all slow processes but we will persevere. We are also now looking at 2 more exchanges, bringing the total to 5. So hopefully we should see at least a couple of these come to fruition soon. There are many variables that are considered when listing, so it is not a simple, apply and your listed process. That said, we have a very comprehensive project, with a whitepaper, documented legal review, a team with a strong crypto background, and a lot of other key things that are considered when exchange applications are made. Happy Friday YOPsters! In our post-Merge world as we continue to drive through the crypto Winter, we look for glimmers of light that show that Spring is coming. Unfortunately, like the situation surrounding Do Kwon and Alex Mashinsky, things remain bleak in the crypto industry. Still the show must go on! 💪 Early next week we'll be releasing the new YOP Finance Landing Page 🎉 This has been worked on over the last few weeks and will add another level of depth to the platform. The premise being that this will act as a softer landing for new users of the platform, allowing them to gather and learn more about the YOP Finance ecosystem. We are engaging with 3rd party vendors to utilise off-the-shelf solutions, so we can MVP the feature and see if this is an area we should spend more time on developing ourselves. The specs for the feature will be released soon and if this gains traction we can really start pushing ahead with building this out internally. I would love to see this feature start to really drive viral growth! 📈 While we continue to develop new features, we are also aware of current issues. The wallet connection bug (MyYOP info shows but no wallet is showing as connected) is currently being worked on. We have identified the root cause (Wallet Connect plugin) and are creating a fix. This will be deployed shortly after the Landing Page has been released. We will confirm when this fix is pushed 👍 As you have asked for, we have started looking into how can make it easier for you to understand boosting optimisation and how staking impacts the vault APYs. We are trying to make DeFi and the YOP Product as straightforward as possible but while we try to take the complicated things away from the users, sometimes the way we automate things under the hood, it can cause confusion for you guys as you can’t see all the workings. Please keep raising these issues and we will continue to push and improve the UX for you 🙏 Something I know a lot of you are keen to know more about is additional exchange listings for the $YOP token. I can confirm that we are in discussions with multiple exchanges (4 at last count) and hope to have some positive news on this soon. New exchanges open up YOP Finance to new communities and help spread the great work that the team is doing! There are a lot of exchanges out there so we are really focusing on how we can maximise exposure while ensuring we target true quality. We will provide more details on this soon but unfortunately the review process with these exchanges does not seem like a quick thing 🏦 With YOP exposure being a key factor as we try to grow the YOP Finance ecosystem, we continue to push ahead with AMAs and podcasts. We have had quite a few now, something like 30 to date, so as you can see there is a lot of effort going into this. We are seeing stable community numbers, that are not bots which is great. These numbers are continuing to hold steady, regardless of this winter. People have been leaving but we continue to see new people join. This is also evident on Twitter as we see new faces appearing and talking about YOP all the time. This is great to see, and a sign of life even this deep into winter. Yesterday I did an AMA with Bit About Crypto where we had great fun talking about the 2008 recession, Satoshi and the creation of Bitcoin, the creation of Ethereum, all the way through to DeFi and YOP Finance. Low Risk Issue: When connecting YOP Finance to Metamask on your iOS device, you will get an error asking you to install Metamask even if you have it installed.
